Quire suports a range of shortcodes, and custom shortcodes can also be added. In Quire, shortcodes are used for styling, figure images, citations, bibliographies, and collaborators. Note, however, that you can do the same by wrapping multiple paragraphs of Markdown in, or other block-level tags. You can also use HTML tags in a Markdown file. ![]() This file currently controls the appearance of things like breaks, HTML tags, quotes, and more. Quire’s comes with some Markdown configuration options, which are located in the _plugins/markdown/defaults.js. It will also always put the footnotes at the very end of your content, no matter where you may try to put them. ![]() will automatically renumber footnotes in the order they appear in the text.
